Liz Mathis voted against a massive bipartisan tax cut on Thursday.
NRCC Comment: “Liberal Liz Mathis has a long record of voting for higher taxes. If you like high taxes, you’ll love Liz Mathis.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg
The bill will lower Iowa income taxes to 3.9 percent.
Congressman Ashley Hinson praised the passage of the tax reform.
Thrilled to see @IAGovernor & the IA legislature deliver tax cuts to Iowans. At the federal level, I helped introduce legislation that will make key tax cuts permanent for families & small biz.
