United States Senator Mitch McConnell, with Sen. Joni Ernst right behind him, criticized Tucker Carlson for airing footage from Jan. 6 that dispels the popular narrative of Jan. 6 that has been shared by mainstream media, Democrats and some Republicans.

Carlson first aired the footage on Monday night. McConnell was asked on Tuesday about the release of the footage.

“My concern is how it was depicted, which is a different issue,” McConnell said. “Clearly the chief of the Capitol Police, in my view, correctly describes what most of us witnessed firsthand on January 6. So, that’s my reaction to it. It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks.”

  1. It is disgusting that Joni Ernst is always standing right behind McConnell whose agenda is not America First. Another display of arrogance that only the establishment elite knows what is right . An example of political contempt for the constitutional rights and disrespect of the US citizenship by the establishment. That they are above the law and can adjudicate free speech , violate rights of a fair and speedy trial, withhold evidence , tamper with witness testimony, use illegal search and seizure, abuse rights of privacy. I could go on , the only concern of the political leadership is their control over the people.
