Moms for Liberty will be hosting their first ever “Giving Parents a Voice” Townhall in Des Moines, Iowa, next Thursday, February 2nd. The town hall will feature Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, National Co-Founder of Moms for Liberty Tina Descovich, and other Iowa education leaders.

The “Giving Parents a Voice” Moms for Liberty Townhall will focus on state and national issues affecting parental rights in K-12 public schools. This includes the recently passed Students First Act and will explore controversial topics such as teaching gender ideology, age-appropriate books being mislabeled as “book-banning” and other issues related to parental consent and parent involvement in the public education system of Iowa.

Co-founder of Moms for Liberty Tina Descovich says, “We would like to invite all Iowa parents to our Townhall meeting to take part in these vital conversations impacting education and the future of America.”

Also, in conjunction with the town hall, Leadership Institute will be holding training sessions to equip parents in the areas of school board activism and campaign training for those who want to run for office themselves. Anyone who wants to register for these special training sessions can sign up here: https://www.momsforliberty.org/events/1316/. [Note: Registration is required for all events.]
