Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene informed the crowd at America Fest about the conditions of the D.C. jail where political prisoners from Jan. 6 are being held. Greene asked the crowd to imagine they were out protesting for a movement – such as Black Lives Matter.
“Let’s so you’re so passionate about making sure your voice is heard you went out in the streets, night after night, you were told by leaders it’s OK to commit violence, you can loot, you can fight, you can attack courthouses, you can attack police officers, you can burn police cars, you can set things on fire in the streets. So, you did because you were taking up a radical cause and you wanted your voice to be heard. Then imagine you’re arrested and put in jail. Some weren’t arrested, but they were hunted down by the FBI. Then they’re put in jail in Washington D.C. and you were being punished. You were being beaten. But you believed in BLM so much that you were willing to go through it for the cause. Only guess what – that never happened. BLM and Antifa protested and rioted all across the country in 2020. The media cheered them on. The Democrats praised them as peaceful protestors. Not only that, they funded them on their fundraising platform Act Blue. And guess what else happened? When they did get arrested and sent to jail, some of the most prominent female members of the Democrat Party – Ilhan Omar and Kamala Harris – well, they posted bail bond links to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.”
But that isn’t the case with the Jan. 6 protestors. Greene said there is evidence people were being urged to enter the Capitol. And, she noted the unlawful activities at the Capitol started before President Donald J. Trump was done speaking at the Jan. 6 Save America Rally.
“Democrats call it an insurrection,” she said. “But I think we can start calling it a fed-surrection. It’s really interesting. The Jan. 6 Committee in Congress is really not working on that, are they? No, they’re more interested in targeting Republicans and President Trump. It’s the same playbook we saw with Russia collusion.”
Greene called it a “communist revolution.”
“Communist is a scary word,” she said. “We’re not used to that in America. We’re used to thinking it won’t happen here. But I want you to know, it’s here right now.”
Americans have been “hunted down” by the FBI and had their houses raided, she said. Greene made it clear she wasn’t defending the unlawful behavior that took place on Jan. 6, but she also said there is nothing wrong with complaining about election fraud.
“Because Hillary Clinton still thinks she won in 2016,” she said. “And I’m from Georgia. And Stacey Abrams swears she’s our governor. But the FBI went after these people. The DOJ has charged them. And for months I tried, along with a few of my colleagues – and unfortunately it’s only a few (Paul Gosar, Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Bob Good), we tried to go to the D.C. jail and we weren’t allowed to get in.”
Instead, they were threatened with trespassing charges from the deputy warden. But Greene said the warden met someone who doesn’t back down.
“It’s me,” she added.
Eventually, she got into the D.C. jail.
“Everything you’ve heard on the internet is true about what’s happening there,” she said. “You see, you’re living in America when it’s post-constitution. I know, it’s hard to understand. And it’s because we have a communist regime in control where the BLM protestors and all the rioters and all the violence they did, they were never prosecuted. Over 90 percent of them had their charges dropped.”
Human rights do not matter to the “leaders” of the country for the Jan. 6 political prisoners, she said.
“They were held in solitary confinement for four months with 23 hours of the day not being let out of their cell. Then, two months of 22 and 2,” Greene said. “They are not allowed to have chapel. They are not allowed to have communion. They are not allowed to have access to the law library. They’re not allowed to see their family. They haven’t seen their families’ faces since they’ve been put in there. And, for many of them, that’s been since January. They’re held separately in a different part of the jail.”
She said she has seen the other area of the jail where other prisoners are held. They receive continuing education. They have job training. They have practice for what it will be like when they go to court. They watch TV. They’re out of their cells.
“But it’s very different for the Jan. 6 defendants,” she said. “And the whole reason why is – you want to know why? They support President Trump. Now, ask yourself a serious question. Why would we have a two-tiered justice system in America? Because the people in charge do not believe in the Constitution. They do not believe in freedom. They do not care about protecting it. As a matter of fact, they’re destroying it as we speak.”
So, what do we do now? She cautioned about a bill in New York that passed one chamber and is in the other. It states anyone unvaccinated is to be a dangerous person to society and could be detained indefinitely.
“Things are getting to a place where we shouldn’t be,” she said. “And I’ll tell you right now, I have a serious problem with that because I’m not vaccinated. And they’re gonna have a hell of a time if they want to hold me down and give me a vaccine.”
In order to fight back, she wanted things may get uncomfortable.
“You’re going to have to get comfortable being uncomfortable,” she said. “You’re not guaranteed anything anymore. The Democrats are proving that. They’re not the normal American Democrats. They are the Communist Democrat Party of America.”
If you are being fired or kicked out of school for being unvaccinated, she said to march in the streets.
“I’d love to see military members, teachers, doctors, nurses who have saved lives during this pan – wait, hold on, bioweapon pandemic…let me go further, sponsored by Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Chinese Communist Party – but what we should be doing is taking to the streets. Everyone. In uniform showing this is who is being canceled and here is my family and here is my children and I will no longer have a paycheck to take care of them. But I don’t see anyone yet, and I’m looking.”
Be prepared. Be warned. Speaking out and standing for truth will put a target on you.
“I will do anything to stop this Communist revolution to the point where I know the Jan. 6 Committee is coming after me first,” she said. “In the entire Congress, I’m one of the ones on the frontline. I still will stand up for those people in the D.C. jail and across the country who are being the very victims of the communists in charge. And I’ll tell you why. It’s because they want to intimidate every single one of you to never try them. But here’s where we are. I’m counting on you guys. My kids are 24, 22 and 18. You young adults, you’re the generation that’s going to have to fight. And I believe in you.”
