Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said she supports employees who want to protest vaccine mandates and said she believes hospitals are “making a very dangerous choice” if they fire healthcare workers for refusing to take the COVID vaccine.

She said she’s talked with nurses in her Georgia district who have cared for patients and had COVID themselves and refuse the vaccine.

“Yet hospitals are going to fire people,” she said. “It’s going to be hospital bureaucrats who are going to create a real healthcare crisis in this country and it’s going to be their fault.

“When hospitals are overcrowded and we can’t take care of people — not only for COVID, but other things like cancer, diseases, unnecessary surgeries, car accidents, anything that can happen — hospital bureaucrats need to be very careful when they’re going down that path. They should respect medical workers who are trained in the field and know far more than those people sitting up in some office making that decision.”
