Last week we told you about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s bill called “Protect Children’s Innocence Act.” The bill will prohibit “gender-affirming” treatment of minors.

We also told you how there are no GOP representatives from Iowa cosponsoring the bill. At the time, there were 42 cosponsors.

The good news? Three cosponsors have been added to the bill.

The bad news? Iowa’s three Republican congressional representatives are still not cosponsoring the legislation.

The Iowa Standard reached out to staff from all three offices and haven’t heard back from Congressman Randy Feenstra, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson or Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks.

Republicans from states like Pennsylvania, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York have cosponsored the legislation — but none from Iowa.

We encourage our readers to also reach out to their offices and see if they can get a response.

You can contact Iowa’s House Republicans using the information below:

Rep. Randy Feenstra: (202) 225-4426 or (712) 224-4692 or (515) 302-7060

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks: (202) 225-6576 or (563) 232-0930 or (641) 244-7020

Rep. Ashley Hinson: (202) 225-2911 or (319) 266-6925 or (563) 557-7789
