Today, Cindy Axne’s campaign released a new ad that shows how she’s working with leaders across the aisle, including Republicans like Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, to bring down everyday expenses for Iowans.

The ad titled “Anywhere” highlight’s Rep. Axne’s work with Senator Grassley to fight meat monopolies to lower food costs, and her leadership in passing the bipartisan CHIPS & Science Act to bolster American manufacturing to lower prices and bring supply chains back to the US from China.

“Cindy Axne has always been committed to working with Republicans and Democrats to do what’s best for Iowans,” said Paige Godden, spokesperson for Cindy Axne for Congress. “She knows Iowa families have been struggling to keep up with rising food and gas prices, and she’s working to bring these costs down as quickly as possible. Cindy has been working hard to increase competition against China and make sure meat producers and big oil companies are being held accountable for rising prices.”

The ad is Axne’s fifth ad of the 2022 campaign cycle and will air in all three media markets of Iowa’s Third Congressional District.

SCRIPT:

Cindy Axne: Rising costs are hurting Iowa families everywhere. So, I’ll go anywhere to fight high prices. I’ll even go against my own party…

Like working with Chuck Grassley to end the meat processor monopoly and lower food costs…

Or passing a bipartisan plan to get supply chains back from China and bolster American manufacturing to lower prices.

Now, I’m working across the state – and across the aisle – to bring tax relief to middle-class Iowans.
