Jim Carlin, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, today released a powerful new campaign advertisement titled “Protect Our Kids,” reaffirming his support for Iowa families and his opposition to policies that place activist agendas ahead of child safety and parental rights. The advertisement draws a clear contrast between Carlin’s record of legislative action and the positions of his opponent, Ashley Hinson. While Carlin authored legislation to protect children in classrooms, bathrooms, and locker rooms, the ad highlights Hinson’s opposition to restrictions on certain therapies and her alignment with organizations advocating gender ideology in schools.
“I stand with Iowa parents who want to protect their children from radical ideologies in our schools,” said Jim Carlin. “Families deserve a voice, and our kids deserve safe learning environments free from political agendas. When given a choice between parents and special interests, I will always choose Iowa families.”
