A poll conducted by Change Research and released by the Franken for Iowa campaign today shows Mike Franken with a narrow lead over Abby Finkenauer in the primary election: 42% Franken, 40% Finkenauer, 4% Hurst and 14% undecided. Will include link to story.

The poll surveyed 866 primary election likely voters in Iowa. These numbers show that Franken continues to gain popularity among voters when they hear his message and vision. Finkenauer held a double digit lead in a primary poll conducted in early April.

Franken for Iowa Campaign Manager Julie Stauch said, “This poll confirms the groundswell of support we have been seeing in communities across the state and at events over the past few weeks. The more Iowans learn about Mike Franken, the more they like him and want to vote for him. At the end of the day, Iowa Democrats want a candidate who is the best candidate to defeat Chuck Grassley, and more and more voters believe that candidate is Mike Franken.”
