Republican State Sen. Zach Nunn has an eight-point edge in a poll released by RMG Research. The poll was conducted July 29-Aug. 5.

Nunn is running against Democrat Congresswoman Cindy Axne and held a 49-41 lead in the survey.

NRCC spokesman Mike Berg noted that Iowans are “rejecting” Axne due to her backing Joe Biden’s “disastrous agenda.”

The same poll showed 71 percent of those surveyed strongly favor term limits for members of Congress. Nineteen percent somewhat favor them.

When asked if they knew Nunn signed a Term Limits Pledge while Axne opposes term limits who they would vote for, 52 percent said they’d vote for Nunn and 37 percent said they’d vote for Axne.

  1. I’m waiting to see if he is a neocon warmonger who wants to spend billions on the crooks in Ukraine and supports saber rattling at China before I will support him. He better be an American first guy who wants to protect the US border and not play world’s policeman. No more money for endless war given to the military industrial complex.
