Last week it was revealed that NFL wide receiver Marquise Goodwin was diagnosed with blood clots in his legs and lungs, forcing him to the sideline to start the season.
On Monday it was announced another NFL wide receiver has uncommon health issues.
Denver Broncos receiver KJ Hamler experienced chest pains and has been diagnosed with pericarditis, a “mild heart irritation.”
Hamler said he has a “great treatment plan” and hopes to get it taken care of so he can return to football.
Hamler is just 24 years old.
