Last week Frank Luntz shared the results of a poll he conducted after the Capitol protest of voters who supported President Donald J. Trump.

Luntz said he surveyed 800 people who voted for Trump.

Fifty percent of Trump voters told Luntz that Trump should continue his fight to remain President. Fifty-one percent said they would tell him to run again in 2024, while 31 percent said he should retire from politics.

Thirty-five percent of Trump voters said they would rather vote for someone else in 2024. Mike Pence leads the list of “someone else” with 34 percent of that vote. But, included on that list, is Donald Trump Jr. (seven percent) and Ivanka Trump (four percent).

Seventy-three percent of Trump voters still maintain the election system is rigged.

Despite some of those Trump supporters suggesting he should retire from politics, 91 percent maintain that if the election were held today, they would still vote for President Trump.

It is hard to imagine this number going much lower simply because it’s hard to imagine anything else going wrong for President Trump on the level that the media has done to bash him the last four years.
