As we all know, back in June Cindy Axne said “we’re not even remotely close to a point to say that we’re at rising inflation.”

In July, Axne said concerns about rising prices stemmed from a “false advertisement.”

In September, Axne said inflation will “get better day by day.”

But The Washington Post reports “[p]rices rose 6.2 percent in October compared with a year ago, the largest annual increase in 30 years, as inflation continues to weigh on the economy and is lasting longer than policymakers at the Fed and White House anticipated heading into the end of the year.”

NRCC Comment: “Cindy Axne is still either too dishonest or too uninformed to represent Iowans in Congress.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg
