On Tuesday, Nunn for Congress released a new IA-03 poll, conducted by Moore Information Group, that shows Zach Nunn ahead of incumbent Congresswoman Cindy Axne by 2 points (46%-44%).

“Iowans are clearly receptive to our message focused on addressing the issues that matter most to Iowans – fixing the economy, regaining American energy independence, strengthening parent choice, supporting law enforcement to fight the dangerous rise in violent crime, and stopping human trafficking and drug trade overwhelming the US-Mexico border,” campaign spokeswoman Lydia Hall stated. “With just one week until Election Day, momentum continues to build behind solution-oriented leadership in combat veteran Zach Nunn. That’s why we’re leading with independents and late deciders despite Axne’s 4-to-1 funding advantage that she’s largely used for negative attack ads.”

Nunn leads +19% among independent, or “non-partisan,” voters. Both Republicans and Democrats are widely supporting their candidate. However, Nunn is preferred by fully half of non-partisans (50/31%). The newly released poll further validates what experts are projecting. Sabato’s Crystal Ball and FiveThirtyEight, widely respected election forecasters, have Nunn as the clear favorite to win in IA-03.
