Just 28 percent of American adults believe the country is “winning the war” against COVID-19. Fifty-three percent say the U.S. is not winning and 19 percent are not sure.

According to the Rasmussen Reports phone and online survey, 46 percent of American adults are personally more concerned about the health impact of COVID. Forty-two percent say they’re more concerned about the financial impact.

Forty-six percent of Republicans believe America is winning the war on COVID. Sixty-five percent of Democrats say we are not.

As for voters who are not affiliated with either major party, 19 percent say America is winning against COVID, 53 percent say we’re not and 27 percent are not sure.
