In response to Democrat Christina Bohannan’s announcement that she will again seek a seat in Congress in 2026, conservative candidate David Pautsch released the following statement:
“Christina Bohannan has announced another run for Congress, but Iowa families already know what she offers: more of the same failed, radical policies of the Biden administration. She failed to give voters a real reason to support her last election—and still hasn’t stood up for the priorities Iowans care about.
While Bohannan is focused on extreme social agendas and endless government spending, I’m focused on delivering real hope and real results. I will fight to:
• Eliminate the federal income tax and restore fiscal responsibility to Washington
• Protect parental rights and ensure our schools defend children from bullying and ideological agendas
• Secure our southern border and dismantle the drug cartels and sex trafficking networks devastating our communities
• Defend the unborn and uphold the dignity of every human life
Christina Bohannan may claim to stand for ‘progress,’ but her policies would leave future generations weaker, poorer, and less safe. Iowans want more than political slogans and identity politics. They want someone who will stand up for the American family, restore prosperity, and bring integrity back to Washington.
I’m running to give Iowans a voice that will not be silenced by political correctness or party pressure. The contrast is clear—and in 2026, voters will have a real choice.”
David Pautsch is a constitutional conservative, longtime community leader, and defender of American values. His campaign focuses on economic liberty, border security, parental rights, and the sanctity of life.
