A video showing a kid learning how to pole dance at a Pride event was posted publicly to TikTok. The event was supported by Pennsylvania Democrat Tom Wolf.

“It is my honor to join with the Pride Festival of Central Pennsylvania to celebrate their thirtieth anniversary,” Wolf’s letter said. “Pride Festival of Central Pennsylvania is a time to unite and denounce discrimination and violence toward LGBTQ+ individuals, to promote self-affirmation, dignity and equality, and to mobilize communities.”

Wolf said he is “confident” the example of “conviction, compassion and camaraderie” will inspire others for “many years” to come.”
