An objection submitted to the Iowa Utilities Board against the Navigator CO2 Pipeline reads:

“My grandparents have owned their land in Delaware County for over 100 years and this pipeline will go right down the center of over a mile of good cropland making it unproductive. It will make the land wet requiring expensive tile to be put in so tractors don’t get stuck and even after that ground has been shown to still not produce well. This will benefit a private company rather than the public so we are against it. The pipeline can pose a danger to the people who live near it and the livestock if there is a leak. Please help stop this from happening.”
