According to a White House official, President Donald J. Trump will visit Cedar Rapids to meet with Gov. Kim Reynolds to discuss the shared efforts to respond to the derecho that hit Iowa last week.

The President will also meet with state and local officials, along with Iowans who were affected by the severe weather.

“President Trump is committed to supporting Iowa’s communities and farms as we being to restore, rebuild and revitalize those communities impacted by this tragic natural disaster,” said the White House official.
