President Donald J. Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, released a statement late Friday saying that he recommended moving President Trump to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after consultation with specialists from Walter Reed and Johns Hopkins University.

Conley said President Trump is doing “very well.”

“He is not requiring any supplemental oxygen, but in consultation with specialists we have elected to initiate Remdesivir therapy,” Conley said. “He has completed his first dose and is resting comfortably.”
