Pro-abortion, anti-religious liberty Scholten tweets Bible verse about ‘the stranger’

No, this is not the Babylon Bee. This is indeed reality.

J.D. Scholten ran in 2018 for the United States House of Representatives as a Democrat. During his campaign he criticized Iowa’s heartbeat bill and said he wanted to make it clear he stands for “women’s rights.”

Scholten also made it clear he believes erotic liberty trumps religious liberty.

“I stand for equality and civil rights for ALL, without hesitation and without caveats. No one should be discriminated against because of who they are when it has no impact of the lives or well-being of others. That is not what this country stands for,” his website states.

On Wednesday Scholten tweeted out a Bible verse when sharing a story about a man who faces 20 years in prison for providing food and water to migrants crossing the desert.
