A reader reached out to tell us about the situation her grandson is in. A specialist paratrooper, the individual does not want to be vaccinated but is under pressure.

According to our reader, valued assignments are offered such as training with Delta Force. Some decided to get vaccinated, but assignments did not materialize. Comp days are offered for being vaccinated as well.

“I am really concerned for him,” the reader said.

They have contacted Sen. Joni Ernst’s office once in Washington D.C. and twice in Des Moines — but no success so far.

“This is absolutely NOT like the other vaccinations in the military to be operation ready,” they said.
