Today, State Representative Dan Gehlbach announced he is endorsing Adam Steen for Governor, citing Steen’s principled leadership and commitment to responsible governance.
“Adam Steen is a steady, principled conservative who understands both the policy and the responsibility that come with leading our state,” said Representative Gehlbach. “During my time in the legislature, I’ve worked closely on education reform and have spent years examining how our state allocates and safeguards taxpayer dollars. That experience has taught me that leadership requires both conviction and discipline. Adam has both. He believes in expanding opportunity for families, protecting parental rights, and ensuring that the government operates transparently and within its means. Iowa needs a governor who will follow through on what he says and Adam is prepared to do that.”
Steen said he is grateful for Gehlbach’s support and the confidence it represents.

The endorsement adds to growing support for Steen’s campaign among lawmakers and grassroots conservatives across Iowa, as he continues traveling all 99 counties to meet directly with voters and advance a vision rooted in opportunity, fiscal discipline, and Keeping Iowa Free.
