Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement after leaked documents revealed that the Administration has released 160,000 illegal immigrants into the U.S. since March. Hinson has repeatedly asked the Administration to provide this information to Congress and the American people.
“While the Administration continues to dodge questions from Members of Congress, including myself, about the number of illegal immigrants released into our country— it took leaked documents to get the American people answers. The Administration is in fact releasing large numbers of illegal immigrants into the country, with no way to track them, and they are downright refusing to enforce our immigration laws that keep Americans and Iowans safe. President Biden continues to abdicate responsibility at the border and is putting our national security at risk.
