Why running for office: “I really wanted to run again. I have a couple of issues. One, I would like to see that all newborns are checked for lip ties and tongue ties and are treated accordingly. And, the other, I want to make sure that mail-order orthodontics, that those people who are ‘providing that service’ are practicing the standard of care.
“I think I can represent the people in the Fifth District. I’m getting more experience with how the state government works and I just feel more confident in handling the things that they bring to me. You can’t always do everything you want to, but I just feel like I’ve learned quite a bit and would like to continue to do so.
“I think I can help our state be more fiscally responsible. I don’t know how this whole Coronavirus is going to affect us, because it’s going to affect our economy significantly, so we’re going to have to be careful with that. And, you know, I started a dental practice from scratch and did so for 35 years. I have a fair amount of small business experience, so I think that also helps.”
