On June 24, the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 case that legalized abortion. This ruling will give the power back to the states to make decisions on abortion and removes the federal government’s unconstitutional overreach. Roe put unelected judges in charge of the abortion policy. Abortion laws should be debated and decided by the American people, not dictated by judges.

“(June 24 was) a momentous day for every American who has joined the fight and stood for life. As a father of three and a grandfather of eight, I firmly believe an unborn child is a human life, fearfully and wonderfully made and worth protecting,” said Rep. Weber. “Over the last few weeks, we have witnessed the unhinged left go absolutely insane over the decision to overturn Roe. I am thankful that the Supreme Court Justices upheld the integrity of the Court and our Constitution.”
