On Tuesday, the Brenna Bird for Iowa campaign announced that they received a $1 million contribution from the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) as they see the Iowa Attorney General’s race as their top pick-up opportunity this cycle.
“Iowa is trending in the right direction, and all indicators show that Brenna Bird can win this race on Election Day,” said Peter Bisbee, Executive Director of RAGA. “With Joe Biden trampling on the Constitution and the freedoms of everyday Iowans, the office of Attorney General is more important today than it has ever been. Brenna is the right candidate to take Biden head on.”
“Tom Miller has been in office for nearly 40 years and in that time he has lost touch with Iowans on the issues they face,” said Brenna Bird. “I think this is a year when Iowans are looking to hire an attorney general who will fight back for them. We are building a strong campaign and I am grateful to have the significant support of RAGA.”
Brenna Bird is the Republican candidate for Iowa Attorney General. As the elected County Attorney for Guthrie County since 2018, Brenna has helped keep Iowa families safe by getting criminals off the street, advocating for victims of crime, and standing up for law enforcement. Brenna has been a prosecutor since 2016 and her leadership has been recognized by county attorneys throughout Iowa who have chosen her as President-elect of the Iowa County Attorney Association. If elected, she will be a staunch defender of the rule of law and the Constitution.
