Republican State Rep. Jon Jacobsen shared an “emergency message” to his southwest Iowa constituents on Friday.

“I am on the steps of the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines, Iowa today, but my thoughts are with you. I hear you and I know how concerned and angry you are about the obvious fraud and cheating in this Presidential election,” Jacobsen said. “Clearly this election is being stolen, and I share your outrage.”

Jacobsen said now is not the time to be meek or compliant, nor to surrender.

“Free, fair and open elections are the bedrock of our nation,” he said. “And I promise I’ll do everything, everything in my power to fight for that. And I commit that I’ll continue to fight with both hope and determination. And I will do everything in my power to protect you from the oppressive, Leftist agenda of an illegitimate administration.

“We will keep on fighting to preserve honesty and justice in our state and in our country.”
