Americans today find themselves in growing fear of their own government. The idea of a constitutional republic governed by elected representatives answering to the people is giving way to top-down tyranny.
Using the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to issue vaccine dictates and the equivalent of vaccine “passes” and “passports,” Marxists in the White House and Congress are fast stripping America of its self-governance and democratic character. Their massive multiple-trillion dollar giveaway programs and mass illegal immigration are aimed at radically transforming the United States.
At the same time, Marxist-run teachers unions like the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, the latter headed by lesbian activist Randi Weingarten, have done away with honest American history. In its place, they subject students to the notoriously dishonest 1619 Project, Critical Race Theory, Black Lives Matter curricula and Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States.”
To that they have added the LGBTQ agenda, which is at war with normalcy and truth, and has an ultimate aim of criminalizing Christianity.
All of these are designed to radicalize young people and make them hate their own country. Numerous surveys have shown how successful this fake history has been.
As the Biden Administration, leftist governors and even local school boards increasingly abuse power, what can citizens do to restore the proper roles of a people and their government in a self-governing republic?

Stephen McDowell is co-founder and president of the Providence Foundation, a Christian educational organization whose mission is to train and network leaders of education, business, and politics to transform their culture for Christ.
In over 30 years of full-time work with the Foundation, Stephen has trained people from 100 countries to apply biblical truth in all spheres of life.

Stephen’s books and writings have been translated into 18 languages and distributed to more than one million people. McDowell holds a master’s degree in geophysics, served for several years as a pastor and has been an adjunct professor at Regent University.
