In case you missed it, in her injudicious attempt to be Joe Biden’s running mate, Gretchen Whitmer has ditched believing women in exchange for covering up Joe Biden’s sexual assault allegations.

Apparently Whitmer no longer believes that “sexual harassment is not a partisan issue and is unacceptable no matter who does it.” Instead, she supports the doctrine that “not every claim is equal.” While it’s clear that Whitmer is too blinded by her allegiance to Joe Biden and her own political aspirations to believe Tara Reade, Iowans deserve to know where Biden supporters like Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer stand on Reade’s allegations.

Bottom Line: By remaining silent and ignoring Tara Reade’s credible allegations, Iowans must ask when Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer stopped believing women and started covering for Joe Biden’s credible sexual assault allegations.
