After 14 agonizing days of Cindy Axne, Abby Finkenauer, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats stalling additional relief to our small business owners, Republicans worked hard to strike a deal that everyone could get behind. The new deal includes funding for our hospitals, healthcare heroes, and replenishes the Paycheck Protection Program to the tune of $310 billion.
This second wave of funding will save an estimated 28.7 million jobs nationwide, 402,000 of those jobs are in Iowa alone. This is on top of the over 30 million jobs that were saved across the country from the first round of funding.
