On April 16, 2020, President Trump released a detailed guideline for reopening the country and economy, which called for a phased approach implemented on a statewide or county level. Now, two months later, Joe Biden finally released his plan for reopening the economy; however, it does not address the tougher questions regarding specific business openings and how states should leave lockdown.

This isn’t the first time Joe Biden has followed the Trump administration’s lead regarding the coronavirus. On January 31, 2020, President Trump suspended entry of any foreign national who had traveled to China in the last 14 days which the Biden campaign hammered for being xenophobic. However, on April 3, 2020, the Biden campaign flipped their position and said they supported the China travel ban.

Bottom Line: As the Trump administration continues to lead by example, Joe Biden continues to hide in his basement, clueless as to what is going on in his own country.
