President Trump and Congressional Republicans have taken prompt and direct action to protect the American public from the coronavirus pandemic.

President Trump has signed an economic relief bill to assist Americans most affected by this virus. This bill expanded Medicaid, guaranteed free testing, provided additional protections to health care workers and expanded paid sick leave for millions of Americans.

Simultaneously, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Senate Republicans have been working tirelessly to negotiate a bipartisan proposal that delivers further relief to the American people. However, just last night, Democrats blocked a simple procedural vote to advance the bill further.

Bottom Line: President Trump and Republicans are working hard to deliver for the American people, but Congressional Democrats are standing in the way. Americans continue to approve of President Trump’s handling of this pandemic because they know that the Trump Administration will faithfully work to keep all Americans safe.
