On Wednesday, Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21) instructed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Biden administration to preserve all information related to the border crisis and illegal aliens they have released into American communities.
Representative Roy wrote in a letter,“Since February 2021, Members of Congress, including myself, have sent you countless requests for information about DHS’s policies and actions related to border security, immigration, and national security, only to receive – at best – delayed and insufficient responses or – at worst – no response from your office at all.”
Under the Biden administration, we have seen record-breaking illegal alien encounters at our borders, millions of aliens released into the interior, scores of criminals and other bad actors infiltrating our communities, endangering Americans and aliens alike, and much more.
“It is imperative DHS preserve any and all information related to the border crisis and mass influx of aliens into the interior so the incoming Trump administration can deliver on its mandate to undo the damage done,” said Representative Roy, “This request is to withstand any administration transition and future directives to destroy evidence related to DHS policies and actions taken as of January 20, 2021.”
