Today, Republican candidate for Iowa Governor Brad Sherman issued an endorsement from State Senator Kevin Alons, who represents Plymouth, Cherokee, Woodbury, and Monona counties.
Senator Alons’s endorsement reads: “I originally endorsed Brad Sherman shortly after his announcement nearly a year ago – I knew him personally to be a man of true conviction, had prayerfully sought God and heard a specific call, and I believed he was the leader Iowa absolutely needed in the challenging times we face. Today Brad has earned that same respect from the many Iowans he continues to inspire with his grassroots campaign, in all 99 counties and counting, his deep commitment to our Constitution and the Biblical principles on which it was founded, and will prevail through integrity, hard work, unshakable tenacity and our shared faith in His providence.”
“I am excited to again announce the endorsement of Senator Kevin Alons. Kevin spent 27 years in the military, honorably serving our country before being elected to the Iowa Senate. He has served his constituents so well in the State Senate, and he has established himself as a real conservative leader,” Sherman said.
