Every legislator responds differently to their constituents.
A concerned Iowan sent an email to Democrat State Sen. Claire Celsi regarding the COVID-19 vaccine passport bill. The message from the concerned citizen advocated for adding the bill to include health care facilities and to address the use of IRIS when tracking an individual’s vaccination status.
“We are adamantly opposed to the use of vaccines that are not FDA approved as well as vaccine passports for any reason,” the citizen wrote.
Celsi responded to the citizen…
“Nobody is forcing you to get any vaccine. Some companies and schools may have rules surrounding vaccination, but there always have been religious and medical exemptions in Iowa law.
“All vaccines in the United States have emergency approval and have been proven to be safe and effective.
“Just out of curiosity, why are you so fearful of getting vaccinated?”
For what it is worth, the citizen told Celsi she’s taken other vaccines when appropriate and the vaccine was legitimate.
“I had COVID and am one of the 99 percent out of 75 percent of our population that survived,” she wrote. “This ‘vaccine’ is technically not a vaccine, but an experimental gene therapy program approved for experimental use. I am not interested in having the government dictate to me at any time what medicines or ‘vaccines’ I should take and when I should take them.”
