Recently, I wrote to you about the “Cancel Culture.”

Then the unthinkable happened.

In Iowa, at a forum, Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke said he would forcibly strip churches and other faith institutions of their tax-exempt status unless they abandoned the traditional marriage beliefs.

Not only is this sickening, it’s downright scary. And the worst part? This is now mainstream thinking in the modern-day Democratic Party.

I’m a constitutional conservative because I believe we should be protected under the First Amendment. I don’t believe any government should force churches, mosques, synagogues or non-profits into a particular belief system – no matter how different it may be from my own beliefs.

Democrats want Socialism, and they understand one of the first tenants of this radical ideology is to force God out of the lives of citizens.

If we don’t stand up to this kind of thinking and join together for our values, forcibly stripping our tax-exempt status will be just the first step.

Help me fight these radicals and protect your faith and houses of worship. Don’t think that just because Beto is at only 1% in the polls, and will never be president, that the fight will be over.

As with Bernie Sanders to Elizabeth Warren, the baton of socialism continues to get passed on, they understand this is a marathon, not a sprint.
