U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) today visited a farm in Maxwell to see firsthand the damage caused by the derecho that hit the state earlier this week. During her visit, Ernst met with Iowans to offer her support and learn more about how she may be able to help at the federal level. Yesterday, Ernst spoke with Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig about the derecho’s impact on Iowa’s agriculture community.
