The Iowa Standard joined Sen. Chuck Grassley on Monday for his Capitol Hill Report. We asked Grassley to compare the reaction to accusations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the accusations against Joe Biden.

Grassley was chair of the Senate Judiciary during the Kavanaugh hearings.

“There’s a double standard,” Grassley said. “Joe Biden today said that he needs to be investigated. And in the case of Kavanaugh, both Joe Biden and most every other Democrat said that just because a woman says she was harassed, she ought to be believed and there didn’t have to be any due process.”
