There are so many things Iowa can and should be doing to promote racial justice.  This session, I will be sponsoring and pushing a number of bills to promote equity in health care, education and criminal justice.

We have seen hate and violence far too often from racial attacks on our children and elected officials to calls for book bans.  I am grateful to so many of you in our district who are speaking up against hate and pushing for a more loving world.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, may we all commit to do something good to make our state a safer, more loving place to call home for Iowans of color.
