As voters consider who is best prepared to represent them in the Iowa Senate in District 11, experience matters — not just titles or campaign slogans, but real, hands-on experience doing the work.
I am a grassroots conservative, and for the last six years, I have served as a volunteer lobbyist at the Iowa Capitol, spending an average of three days each week engaged in the legislative process. I have not simply observed government — I have worked within it, following legislation from introduction to final passage, learning how policy is shaped, relationships are built, and meaningful change is accomplished.
Those thousands of hours have prepared me to serve effectively from day one.
During that time, I have developed trusted working relationships throughout the Capitol. Those relationships matter because effective leadership is not about grandstanding — it is about knowing how to navigate the process, communicate across differences, and get the job done. Because of these established relationships, I am prepared to step into this role ready to work from day one.
My work has centered on issues that directly impact Iowa families and communities.
I have co-written legislation addressing human trafficking and worked alongside advocates and lawmakers to protect vulnerable Iowans.
I have fought against explicit content in schools and libraries and advocated for commonsense protections, including minimum age requirements and age verification for pornography access in our state.
I have advocated for parental rights, homeschool freedom, medical liberty, and reforms to the Governor’s emergency powers to ensure the shutdowns and government overreach experienced during COVID are never repeated.
I have also spoken and advocated to define what a woman is in Iowa’s constitution and stood up to protect our daughters from men in their spaces.
I have fought for a healthier Iowa through greater transparency regarding who owns our farmland and the products being used across our state, while standing against monopoly power that harms competition, farmers, families, and small businesses.
This campaign is grassroots and powered by the people, not political ambition or establishment connections. It is built on years of showing up, doing the work, and standing alongside everyday Iowans.
I am running because Iowa deserves leaders who are already prepared, already engaged, and ready to serve with conviction, competence, and the experience to be effective on day one.
