They’re at it again.

Lawmakers are in discussion to pass a massive $908 BILLION spending bill.

You’ve shown me before that you care about our nation’s budget and want to stop irresponsible spending. Today, I’m asking you to join me once again in telling your senators to say NO to bad deals and irresponsible spending.

It’s simple— if wasteful spending deals were wrong before the election, they’re still wrong now. We don’t need massive spending bills that ultimately do more harm.

Congress must be held accountable to working to end the pandemic, not simply find ways to help people endure it.

We can start with smarter testing, vaccine deployment, and therapeutics— not additional bailouts to state and local governments for reckless spending that predated this crisis.

Lawmakers should also reject attempts to tie stimulus to annual government funding — doing so creates a false choice of supporting a bad spending bill or shutting down the government. This disrespects taxpayers and underscores Washington’s failure to fulfill its core appropriations duties.

Tell your Senator to oppose any reckless spending bills— and all attempts to tie COVID spending with any government funding deal— by signing this open letter today:
