Another teacher has asked students for preferred pronouns. Angela Wilson, a World Languages teacher at Southeast Polk Junior High, reportedly asked students to fill out a form asking for pronouns. And she also told the class if students are good and wear masks and get the vaccine they may be able to go on a field trip this year.

Wilson, though, said she made the reference to masks and vaccinations hoping COVID would soon be brought to an end. She denies trying to push her agenda.

As for the pronouns, Wilson was collecting those on a card that nobody else would see. Wilson wants to ensure the correct pronoun is used when she talks with her students. Because they will deal with nouns that are masculine and feminine in different languages, she needs to make sure the nouns match the pronouns used.
