When NY schools started using tax-payer funds to promote Drag Queen Story Hours in schools, Vickie stood up and said “not on my watch!”
Now Vickie is being accused of hate speech and transphobia. But she is not backing down one inch.
In a Twitter statement, Councilwoman Vickie Paladino wrote:
“I would like to make one thing very clear: I am NOT apologizing or redacting my statement against using taxpayer dollars to fund Drag Queen Story Hour in our public schools … This type of political, social, and cultural indoctrination of our little children – often without parental consent – is completely unacceptable and inappropriate, and I refuse to stand for it.”

NYC Mayor Eric Adams was the latest to attack Vickie for her courageous stand, joining members of the “City Council’s LGBTQIA+ Caucus” who are demanding that Vickie Paladino be removed from her committee assignments and formally censured.
At a time when families are hurting from inflation, high gas prices and a tanking economy, the last thing American cities need to be spending tax-payer funds on is perverting our children in public schools by hosting Drag Queen shows.
