State Rep. Boden aiming to represent House District 21 in 2022 election

On Saturday, State Rep. Brooke Boden, of Indianola announced that she will seek re-election in 2022 to Iowa House District 21. The new district is composed of Warren County and Marion County including Indianola, Milo, Lacona, Sandyville, Knoxville and other rural parts of Warren and Marion county.

Currently, Boden is the Vice-Chair of State Government as well on the Human Resources, Veterans Affairs and Ways and Means committee. She sits on the Transportation, Infrastructure and Capitals Appropriations Subcommittee and serves on the Iowa Innovation Council.

Boden is a life-long resident of Indianola, she takes pride in her family’s roots and work accomplishments.  She is a licensed insurance agent and retains a Repairman Certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration to inspect and perform maintenance on hot air balloons, at her family’s balloon manufacturing business. She also owned and operated a dance studio for twenty-four years in warren county.

I stand with our law enforcement and first responders and will remain focused on mental health care solutions for Iowans. I am a citizen legislator who will continue to vigorously and effectively represent and advocate for my constituents. I understand the best solutions come from the people of Iowa and that as an elected representative I serve you. I am incredibly proud of Iowans and their willingness to be a part of the legislative process. This last year, as we have faced uncertain, unprecedented and difficult times together, I have witnessed the strength and resilience of the people of Iowa and have been incredibly honored to represent you at the statehouse. I look forward to continuing to serve you and getting out to meet those of you in the new portion of this district” 

Representative Boden and her husband, Adam, have three children and reside in Indianola. She volunteers at food pantries, is a member of the Elks Lodge, is a frequent volunteer at her children’s schools, is a member of her local church, and previously served as Co-Chair of the Warren County Republican Central Committee.
