We cannot continue banning the ideas of God from our public arenas. There are only two ways of thinking, man’s way or God’s way. Man has pushed out God’s way by calling His way “religion”. We even describe polite conversation as an absence of God or politics. Politics are the war between man’s ways and God’s ways.
Man’s ways are destroying our homes, our country, our work places, our churches and our relationships. Only God’s ways can save us, only by learning his ideas can we change our thinking.
We think we know God’s ways and we don’t. His ways bring unshakable peace and unspeakable joy. His Truth brings limitless freedom. If you don’t feel that, you do not yet have enough of His Truth. No matter if you are a murderer or a pastor, there is always room for more Truth.
The really amazing part is that you don’t have to get there alone. Ask Him to show you. All who have a burden of any kind can just simply ask Him to take it. He will take the burden of your sin, your unbelief, your sickness and all of your unfulfilled needs. He will lead you into righteousness. He will cleanse you. It is not about you being good enough, it is about Him being good enough. We take His hand by acknowledging that we are at the end of our ways and that we need His.
When your eyes are finally opened, when you see His unending goodness and you enter into His rest then you won’t be able to stop talking about Him or about His ways because He is the cure for every single thing that is wrong in this world. Every single thing.
