All followers of Christ have the power within them to physically heal people (or animals!) and work miracles. The Bible affirms that “Greater is He who is within us than he (Satan) who is in the world.” ( I John 4:4) Every person on this planet has needs whether they need physical healing, mental healing, freedom from addictions or freedom from poverty. God can and wants to fulfill those needs. The problem being is that most don’t believe in the power of God, especially Christians. We tend to beg God to move and then when we do not receive, we blame it on God. We say it is God’s will we are sick or that He is trying to teach us something through defeat. That is not who God is. Jesus has told us that He did not come to condemn us. Keep reading past John 3:16…”God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

It is time to unlearn what we have learned and to read the Scriptures afresh. It is time to walk in the authority that the church was given through Christ’s death. It is time to realize the power of the Holy Spirit was given to us in that upper room on Pentecost as told in the book of Acts. The Spirit has not left us.

It is interesting that people will spend thousands of dollars and many years of training to learn “healing” at a medical school or spend thousands going to a doctor but will not take the time to learn about God’s free Gift of healing. Personally, I am just beginning to learn.

There is a video that can teach you about having faith to utilize the Power of God from a man called The Praying Medic. This is not about a “healing formula”, it is about a personal relationship with God and it is absolutely Biblical. The video is called “Everything you wanted to know about healing and miracles“. This is David Hayes. David has also been given the Gift of teaching. Some of you have likely heard terrible things about this man and have been advised to beware. Know that Satan will viciously attack those with the power to defeat his works. I would actually be more wary of teachers who, unlike Jesus, are not attacked. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) We need the Power of God now more than ever.
