The American Border Story (TABS) is praising President Donald Trump following his 2026 State of the Union address, calling it a powerful reaffirmation of border security, law enforcement and justice for victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.
Just days after designating February 22 as “National Angel Families Day,” President Trump used his address before Congress to spotlight the stories of Angel Families — Americans who have lost loved ones to crimes committed by illegal aliens. Members of the Medina and Coleman families were present in the chamber as the president spoke.
TABS said their presence served as a reminder of what it described as “the human cost of unsecured borders.”
“Under his leadership, the United States will always prioritize border security, law enforcement and public safety,” TABS said in a statement released following the speech.
According to TABS, the administration has made historic progress in restoring border control during Trump’s first year back in office.
The group highlighted that the United States reportedly achieved negative net migration for the first time in more than 50 years, reversing what it called decades of unchecked immigration policies.

Throughout his address, President Trump emphasized justice for Angel Families and pledged continued enforcement of immigration law.
TABS praised the President for standing firm despite opposition.
“Despite constant pushback from Democrat politicians and judicial saboteurs, President Trump has given new hope to mothers, fathers, spouses and children who have suffered unimaginable loss due to crimes committed by illegal aliens,” the organization stated.
The group added that the administration’s commitments before Congress demonstrate an “unwavering dedication to border security and justice for victims of immigration crime.”
Trump’s address framed border enforcement as both a public safety issue and a moral obligation. The administration’s approach is restoring the rule of law while protecting American communities.
TABS concluded its statement by pledging continued support for the President’s efforts:
