Among the groups that registered in support of the bill:

AFSCME IA Council 61
Davis, Brown, Koehn, Shors & Roberts, P.C.
Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence
Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault
Iowa Health Systems
Iowa League of Cities
Iowa Planned Parenthood Affiliate League
Iowa Protection and Advocacy Services
Iowa State Education Association (teacher’s union)
Meredith Corporation
National Association of Social Workers
Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa
Principal Financial Group
Qwest
School Administrators of Iowa
Service Employees International Union
United Transportation Union
Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
