The Department of Justice admitted the FBI took three of President Donald J. Trump’s passports during its raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence last week. This admission came after CBS’s Norah O’Donnell reported a DOJ official said the FBI is NOT in possession of the passports.
Taylor Budowich, Trump’s spokesman, tweeted a screenshot of an email from the DOJ’s National Security Division acknowledging the documents were indeed taken.
This is how Fake News works, folks. Biden admin actively feeds half truths & lies that the media willingly amplifies—advancing a partisan narrative to attack Trump.@NorahODonnell, did your “source” read you this email? Did you bother asking if they indeed seized the passports? https://t.co/DlzkagN0ie pic.twitter.com/VwCU7DPCvg
